About Tuskhead
TuskHead’s New Album ‘Two Faced’ Arrives May 23!
A deep-rooted passion for Americana

“I’ve come to realize that people, like songs, are never just one thing. We’re contradictions wrapped in stories, shaped by love and loss, built from the moments we’d rather forget and the ones we never want to let go of.”
Patrick van Zandwijk, the artist behind TuskHead, has spent years tracing those contradictions in melody and verse. Rooted in Americana, his music finds its footing between country and folk, where raw storytelling meets the warmth of acoustic instruments. He’s wandered through Nashville with Josh Morningstar, recorded in Dallas with The Texas Gentlemen, and left his fingerprints on both intimate living rooms and grand festival stages. Along the way, his songs have climbed the Gelderse Top 20, landed on Spotify’s Route Americana playlist, and resonated with listeners searching for something real.
His upcoming album, Two Faced (out May 23, 2025), is an exploration of duality—the way people, love, and life itself are never just one thing. It’s a reflection on human nature, shaped by personal experience: the push and pull of a toxic relationship, the beauty and brutality of loss, the way music can feel like home and an escape all at once. The first single, a duet with Dave McPherson (InMe), was released on February 21, setting the tone for what’s to come. Two more singles will follow, each peeling back another layer of the album’s heart.
TuskHead’s sound is honest, unpolished in all the right ways—an artist who wears his stories the way a well-loved guitar wears its scars. Recognized for his craft, he’s an official artist for Vintage Guitar, Gold Tone and Red’s Music, a nod to the instruments that shape his music as much as the experiences behind it.
Somewhere between the light and the dark, the past and what’s ahead, Two Faced comes to life.
