A deep-rooted passion for Americana
Patrick van Zandwijk, musically known as TuskHead, is a rising star in the European Americana scene, celebrated for his unique sound and heartfelt storytelling. In 2022, he secured two top 20 hits in the Gelderland Top 20 in the Netherlands, achieved his first official Spotify playlist placement, and became an official artist for the British Vintage guitars brand.
Since 2024, TuskHead has also been recognized as an official artist for Gold Tone, using their GT-500 Banjitar on stage and in the studio to enhance his signature Americana and folk style.
TuskHead traveled to Nashville for “Modern Electric Sessions” to collaborate with singer-songwriter Josh Morningstar, crafting the captivating songs “Maybe” and “Goodbye, Music City.” He then recorded with producer Joel Raif and members of The Texas Gentlemen at Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas.
